Sometimes projects like designing websites or creating ads require mass image production. I’ll generally start off exporting out of the program that the image was created in, like Photoshop, but when it comes to batch resizing, renaming and optimization, Fotosizer is my go to when I’m working on a Windows machine.

Yeah, me to, until I found Etcher. Etcher can create a bootable drive with 3 clicks. Choose your OS then the drive you want to use to boot with, then click “Flash!”

Miro Video Converter

Miro is an awesome lightweight video converter for Mac that I use when I need a quick and dirty video conversion for the web, without diving into Adobe Media Encoder. It will take just about any file format and output it to .MP4 or WEBM.

Local WordPress Development

When it comes to Wordpress, sometimes I just want to experiment with an idea without creating a database and deploying an installation on my server. On days like that, MAMP comes in pretty handy. I will typically download Wordpress and unzip it into a local folder on my hard drive, fire up MAMP, and point it to the local folder.

Visual Studio Code

Visual Studio Code is my number one choice for Editing Code. It is everything I could ask for in classic lightweight text editor but with more powerful IDE-type features with very minimal configuration.
